Family Planning/Contraception Methods
We offer a full range of family planning/contraception methods, including:

- IUCD/Loop/Copper T

We now have sufficient stock of all the family planing methods, including implants and IUCD/, tablets and injects.
Contraceptive Patch And Minera
Unfortunately we do not have contraceptive patches or hormonal IUCD, for example, Minera. We however write you a script so that you can buy them from the pharmacy. If you have your own Minera, we will insert it for you.
Choice Of Family Planning Method
Age, medical history, lifestyle, side effects, how soon you would like to fall pregnant again and whether or not you are breast feeding will determine the type of family planning method best suited for you. Our doctor will advise on the best method of prevention suited for you.

Please note that family planning can be started anytime before, during or after your periods. This includes tablets, injections, Implants/Implanon, IUCD/Loop/Copper T and all other family planning methods. However, the doctor should first do a pregnancy test.
Insertion Of Contraceptive Implants & IUCD/Loop/Copper T
We now offer affordable supply and insertion of contraceptive implants and IUCD/loop/copper T.
Price For Insertion
The total cost is R2,000 including consultation, supply and insertion of the implant or IUCD/Loop/Copper T device.
For removal and insertion on the same day, the total cost is R2,500.
Payment Methods:
We accept medical aid, cash, debit & credit cards/SpeedPoint or swiping.
Unfortunately we do not accept medical aid for removal or insertion of contraceptive implants/implanon, IUD/loop/copper T and female and male sterilisation.
We will however give you a statement so that you can claim a refund from your medical aid.
Removal Of Contraceptive Implants & IUCD/Loop/Copper T
We also offer removal of contraceptive implants (Implanon, Jadelle or Norplant), and IUD/Loop/Copper T.
Price For Removal
For removal of contraceptive implants (Implanon, Jadelle or Norplant), and IUD/Loop/Copper T, the total cost is R1 300, including consultation, procedure and medication.
For removal and insertion on the same day, the total cost is R2,500.
TABLETS & INJECTIONS
We also offer family planning tablets and injects.
First Visit
If you are starting family planning or resuming after a break, you are required to pay the full consultation fees so that our doctor can review your medical history and do a physical examination.
Consultation Fees
Our consultation fees for the first visit are R650.
Consultation fees include supply of tablets for three months or injections- Nur-Isterate, Depo/ Provera/Petogen.
Affordable Review Fees
On subsequent visits, we charge R350.
Review fees include 3 months’ supply of family planning tablets/pills or contraceptive injections (Nur-Isterate or Depo/Provera/Petogen).
